The bigger salmon is a GE animal created in lab.A transgenetic salmon devleoped by the "Aqua Bounty" may be the first GE animal to be sold in supermarkets if approved by the FDA. There is strong objection from the public. Genetic salmon are raised in aqua farms which is an intensive confinement system causes great suffering to the animal.
